Establish what the site requires
Existing services, building condition and access can change the scope substantially. We assess available plans and site information with the project team, identifying gaps that need investigation before they can be priced with confidence.
For a commercial fit-out, that includes understanding the proposed use, equipment requirements and any restrictions affecting the work.
Give the estimate substance
An estimate needs to show what is included, what remains an allowance and what has yet to be resolved. We develop the construction scope and budget around those distinctions.
Material alternatives are assessed for their effect on design, installation and performance. The client can then judge a saving against what changes in the finished space.
Bring construction into the design process
Our design-build service coordinates the design and construction requirements within the agreed appointment. Details can be assessed for buildability, cost and availability as the plans develop.
We also provide pre-construction support where the client has already appointed an architect or designer.
Plan procurement and the sequence of work
Material lead times, consultant information and permit requirements affect when construction can proceed. We bring these dependencies into the schedule before dates are committed to individual trades.
The pre-construction scope can include site reviews, feasibility input, estimating, design coordination, material comparisons and construction scheduling.
