Scope of work
The general contracting scope included layout, framing and drywall, mechanical and high-capacity make-up air, electrical and plumbing, open ramen kitchen with noodle and broth stations under a Type 1 hood, counter and bar seating facing the line, dark wood and industrial finishes, signage coordination and washrooms.
Ramen kitchens carry unusually heavy ventilation loads, which drove the mechanical design.
Project delivery
An open-kitchen ramen restaurant completed to the brand standard in 14 weeks, including the required ventilation and make-up air capacity.
